if i could fly, i would fly in through your window while you sleep
and whisper in your ear that she is sincere.
i would tell you that it is okay to be scared, but, it is better to be brave.
you don't have to be brave like her, but cast off the hermit shell.

she needs you, she's tired and doesn't want to cry anymore
but, just because she might stop saying it, doesn't mean she has stopped loving you.

you think you are too damaged to be any good, but we are all damaged,
and sometimes she doesn't always want to be the strong one.
she doesn't want to do battle with what feels like the entire universe, just to prove to you that she is really real.

i am just a dog, i cannot fly, and i cannot whisper,
but, i am a dog, and i do not like to see my humans suffering when they could be happy instead.

she loves you, her love is forever, don't let it be in vain.
